Apple lost me

Since the burglary, I have been trying to decide what to place my Thinkpad with. I was definitely leaning towards a Mac for the first time in my life. Most everything that I do is web based, and even some of what I used to do in Office is now switching over to the web as well. I was ready to final make the switch.

However, reading after reading the love that Dave Winer, Doc Searls, and others have been getting from Apple, I couldn't risk it. This machine is my main box...the one that I build my company on. Could I afford to be without it for 7-10 days? Absolutely not. Do I know if it has been fixed for new computers? Nope. Not a word from Apple on the subject.

Sorry, Apple. I wanted to one of your army. Going back to a Thinkpad!
