While we applaud the fact that ReviewMe requires disclosure and prohibits advertisers from requiring a positive post, we still think the very act of paying bloggers to write about a product is a very bad idea.

So if I understand this correctly, Mike is saying that an advertiser should never be able to pay a blogger to write a review. If so, how does he feel about PodTech? Don't advertisers pay to have them create podcasts and videocasts regarding their products? As far as I can see, that is the basis of the casts regarding Verizon, Sun, The Deal, Adobe, Intel, f5, SAP, Cadence, and more.
