Getting ready for home

I am so excited to be heading home for Christmas again this year. Molly and I are flying on the red eye tonight and will be home through Christmas. It was $350 cheaper, per tix, to fly home Christmas night...so Christmas night it is.

There's nothing like Christmas with 7 young children (my nieces and nephews). I am very excited right now...

Stolen on the wedding day

Man...I would not want to be this person...

A Tablet PC Wedding ~ Chris Pirillo:

As much as it pains me to say it, one of our wedding tablets was (likely) stolen from the venue later that night. We established a crime timeframe, and security tapes were analyzed. Ponzi and I have been invited back to Harbor Club Bellevue to review the potentially incriminating footage - as the suspects are not employees. As you can imagine, I’m completely unnerved. I really, really don’t want to see who did it - and I’d ask that if you know anything about this situation, you come forward sooner rather than later.

I just can't describe my time @ SantaCon. For good reason. ;)

Some rules and tips for future santas:

  1. eat your breakfast. something absorbent.
  2. a some point during the day, remind yourself to drink some water. and then drink it.
  3. do not attend a birthday party for a 1 year old after you attend santacon.

So, I would stress the last point. And, Tim, you are correct that your Mother's head is not a good resting place for my champagne glass while she is bent over the couch speaking to her friends. I am not sure what Santa was thinking.

I had no idea!

Supercomputers crunching potato chips, proteins and nuclear bombs - CNN.com:

Pringles potato chips are designed using [supercomputing] capabilities -- to assess their aerodynamic features so that on the manufacturing line they don't go flying off the line,' said Dave Turek, vice president of deep computing at IBM.
